This American Life Assignment

Hi Everyone,

Tonight's assignment is a listening and writing assignment for our creative podcast project. You need to go to the This American Life website, select a show, and listen to it. Each show has a single theme around which the presenters tell stories. You can search a given theme; here's a couple that I recommend:

Music Lessons
Two Steps Back
Lock Up
Fiasco

Use the search function on the botton left of the page to find the topics. Read a little bit about them before you choose. After you've listened (each show is one hour), log on to the comments section of this post and do the following:

• Describe your show.
• Evaluate it - what worked, what didn't, what you learned
• Suggest an idea for our own version.
